Very interesting to read your perspective on this! I just wrote a similar article actually having just gone through the name change process. I go into it in my article but I think it's incredibly important to ask each other. Have open conversations. Don't assume a woman changes her name, or doesn't, because of any one reason. For me it was because I have a very complicated family history and was beyond excited to have the opportunity to drop that name.
